California Unveils ZEMU: A Zero-Emission Train Revolutionizing Transit

California’s ZEMU, a hydrogen-powered passenger train, is redefining eco-friendly transit. Operating on the nine-mile Arrow Corridor between San Bernardino and Redlands, it integrates hydrogen fuel cells and batteries for zero-emission travel, emitting only water vapor. Launching ahead of the 2028 Olympics, ZEMU is affordable, scalable, and compatible with existing rail systems, offering a cleaner, quieter alternative to diesel trains and Hyperloop’s costly ambitions.
