New York City has allocated $152.7 million to reimagine Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, between Bryant Park and Central Park. The project will expand sidewalks to 33.5 feet, add over 230 trees, and create 20,000 square feet of planters and seating. Aimed at boosting safety, sustainability, and economic growth, it’s set to pay for itself within five years.
