The Victoria Street redesign in downtown Kitchener will connect pedestrians, cyclists, and priority bus lanes to the Kitchener Central Transit Hub. Integrating Grand River Transit, Ion, GO Transit, and VIA Rail, construction begins in 2024 to enhance safety and accessibility. The project reduces car lanes, adds separated cycle tracks, and prioritizes transit, creating a “complete street” for all users.
