Montreal’s Sainte-Catherine Street West, between Peel and Saint-Marc, is undergoing redevelopment starting summer 2025. This project will upgrade century-old infrastructure, enhance pedestrian spaces with public squares, greenery, and widened sidewalks, and maintain access via metro, buses, REM, and nearby parking. Designed to boost downtown vitality, it prioritizes active transportation, business support, and urban livability.
