Osaka’s Umekita redevelopment, near JR Osaka Station, aims to enhance the city’s role as a gateway to western Japan. Scheduled for completion by 2027, the project integrates the Naniwasuji Line and improved access to Kansai International Airport. With new green spaces, commercial hubs, and cultural facilities, it supports Osaka’s growth and the 2025 World Expo.
