Mumbai’s First Underground Metro Line Set to Launch

Mumbai’s first underground metro, the 33.5 km Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ Line, will commence operations on July 24. This project aims to connect south Mumbai with western suburbs, easing pressure on the suburban railway network. Managed by MMRCL and funded primarily by a JICA loan, it promises faster commutes with 260 daily services from 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM.
