The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has launched a Local Area Plan (LAP) targeting zones around four key metro stations: Vanaz, Swargate, Pune Railway Station, and Ramnagar-Baner. Scheduled for a 10-month timeline, the LAP aims to enhance transit-oriented development by integrating metro services, promoting mixed-use neighborhoods, and reducing car dependency through higher FSI and public transport incentives.
