Shibuya Scramble Square, located at Tokyo’s Shibuya Station, integrates nine railway lines and aims to improve pedestrian navigation and traffic flow. This urban redevelopment project, completed in August 2019, addresses Shibuya’s fragmented layout by enhancing disaster resilience and attracting new industries. The tower’s vertical “urban core” facilitates smooth movement between different levels.
