A new street paving system in Copenhagen’s Nørrebro neighborhood aims to reduce flooding and boost green spaces. Installed in 2018, the modular Climate Tile collects rainwater, which is funneled into adjacent plantings. This project addresses increased rainfall and enhanced urban infrastructure without major disruption, supplementing existing drainage systems and creating a more pleasant microclimate for pedestrians.
