Amsterdam has launched the new Noord/Zuidlijn metro line, featuring seven stations, to enhance urban transit. Located in the city, the line spans six miles north to south, reducing travel time to 15 minutes. Begun in 1996 and completed in 2018, the project addresses growing transportation needs and utilizes advanced boring technology to navigate challenging soil conditions.
