A new 196-hectare residential and commercial district, Bandar Malaysia, is being developed south of Kuala Lumpur on a former airport site. Integrating public transit with walkable pedestrian and cycling networks, the project aims to enhance sustainability and livability by 2020. It involves a collaboration between international engineers and local planners.
